Palm Trees, Denim, and an LA Dream

I picked up these brown Wray pants at Crossroads Trading Co. If you have been following along you'll know I don't wear pants often. I am excited to add more pants and shorts to my collection as I begin to experiment more with my fashion in Los Angeles. I was drawn to these pants because they were high waisted and I liked the color. I am getting more into nude neutrals after my shoot with Masha exploring finding color in the nudes. I love the wide leg. It's so fun. I decided to pair these fun pants with a denim crop top from Noorism and my staple patent leather Zara booties. Noorism is an ethical denim brand that re-claims old jeans and turns them into fun new tops, jackets and other pieces. I am all about sustainable fashion and so happy to have come across this gem of a company.

I shot this look on Montana Ave moments from my new home in Santa Monica. I don't know about you but I just love when fashion compliments the surrounding nature, don't you? There are endless places to shoot in Los Angeles so stay tuned if you like me are always looking to discover more places to shoot in Los Angeles. I plan on doing some traveling through California and shooting looks and being inspired by how nature informs my fashion, style, taste and aesthetic. I really want to draw more from nature for inspiration and since there is so much at every turn in Los Angeles I look forward to seeing where that takes me. I have been having so much fun with makeup as of late. This make up look was inspired by a photo I found on Pinterest of Rihanna. I played with a dramatic highlight and contour and brown lip by Mented called "Nude La La". I have this lovely simple palate from Sephora with brown towns so I played with layering my eye with varying shades of brown. What do you think of the look and makeup to compliment it?
