Pink Velvet

This look came together so naturally for me. I picked up the skirt and top on the same day. I was out on my weekly trip to Beacons Closet and Crossroads Trading Co to see what they had gotten in this week when I came across both of these pieces. I discovered this delicate velvet blush pleated beauty at Crossroads Trading Co. It fit like a glove and I loved the flattering length and pleats. I've really been into blush lately. I recently bought this beautiful blush velvet bedding set with silk blush sheets. I picked up this vintage blouse at Beacons Closet. It is a wonderful silky material complete with large pleats and a lace neck and collar design in a light beige. I knew I wanted the pair the two together instantly for a modern day elegant look. I borrowed this wonderful belt from my fellow fashion blog bestie, Elizabeth. You have to check out her blog: http://www.royalediary.com/. She's a modern day Greek goddess. I completed the look with my sexy beige Steve Madden booties, giving me height and a more flirty vibe. I always accessorize with a bag but couldn't choose one for this look so I decided to switch between the Kent Stetson fun donut bag and the chic rose clutch. Which one do you like best with the look? In an attempt to be more eco friendly I really am trying to limit my clothing consumption to thrifted vintage and designer pieces. And as you can see Beacons Closet and Crossroads Trading Co are my go to places. I am on the look out for more thrift shops so if you have more suggestions send them my way. What are you doing to be more eco-friendly?
