Three Best Friends: Faux Fur, Velvet, and Leather

You wouldn't be able to believe it but aside from the shoes this whole outfit is thrifted. I am a thrift store queen. I found this amazing velvet off the shoulder crop top at Beacon's Closet designed by Hardware London. Side note: Beacons closet is my second home. It is by far one of my favorite places to find second hand luxury and designer brands. I have found some of my most prized wardrobe pieces by luxury designers there including Valentino, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Jeffrey Campbell, and For Love and Lemon just to name a few. Anyways, I wasn't lying in my last post when I said that I am a velvet fiend. One third of my wardrobe consists of velvet pieces. It just feels so damn good and makes me feel like royalty. It can bring class to any look.

I found this wonderful leather skirt at Crossroads Trading Co. I am a huge fan of Storets and their skirts. I have a bunch of their pieces. Before finding this chic skirt I had been doing my monthly search on Storets looking for pieces to add to my wardrobe when I came across this magnificent brown leather skirt. Its form fitting, has fun zippers and one real pocket to store small items in. So, you can only imagine, it was a dream come true when I was at Crossroads Trading Co browsing through the skirt section and found this treasure. When I tried it on in the dressing room and discovered it fit my small waist, I cried tears of joy. Shopping for me is a very emotional experience.

I found the faux fur coat designed by Brazotta styled by Sportowne at Beacons Closet. I had been on a hunt for a faux fur coat for a while when I came across this beauty. The wonderful heeled boot that completes my look are from Steve Madden. They give me the perfect amount of height and make my legs look toned and long which is every short girls dream.
